In the "En las Dos Orillas" project (translated "In both shores"), the Alenta Duo explores the wide repertoire of classical music inspired by Spanish and Latin American folk music. They offer a journey through seven countries on both sides of the Atlantic. Works by composers such as Falla, Granados, Villa-Lobos, Piazzolla, Sarasate, and Domeniconi combine elegance with a strong Latin American character.

Raúl Viela has a solid career as a soloist and musicologist, having performed in around twenty countries in Europe, Africa, North America, and Middle East. He has won numerous awards and has recorded several CDs, both solo and in chamber music ensembles.
